James Wang

James Wang: Technical Manager/ and Staff Engineer in Suncor Energy Inc. He has 28 years of EPCM experience in refining, oil and gas producing and processing projects across China, Africa and North America, including 11 years of Oil Sands in Shell Albiansands, Syncrude and Suncor Oil sands projects. Has worked for CNPC, Fluor Corp and Suncor Energy Inc. He has held various positions from technical to management, Engineering Department Manager, Deputy Chief and Director in Engineering firm, President of Automation Consulting Company, Senior Consultant Engineer, Specialist and Staff Engineer in Oilsand Company. Holding BS degree in Automation Engineering from University of Petroleum China (formerly East China Petroleum Institute), Certificate from Toronto City College and Patent in Process heater and Automation field. Mr. Wang has been actively involved with API Downstream Standards and ISA events, Currently he is a registered P.Eng with APEGGA in Alberta, Canada.
